Upcoming CKC IT System Outage: October 11th – November 4th As you may know, CKC is replacing its IT system to bring CKC members an enhanced user experience with tools that make doing business with CKC more efficient. The implementation of this new system requires that we ensure the accurate transfer of all data and processes managed by CKC’s current IT system. To facilitate this, CKC will be taking its current IT system offline from October 11th to November 4th. During this downtime, CKC’s IT system will be unavailable affecting all Registration and Membership Services transactions, as well as Shows & Trials processing. How does this impact you? CKC will be unable to process any registration applications, event results, or member information updates from Oct. 11th to Nov. 4th as we transition from the current IT system to the new IT system. The following details will help you plan your CKC business around the outage period: Members will have access to the current, temporary member-only website and may submit paper applications between Oct. 11th and Nov. 4th via fax, mail or email at information@ckc.ca or doglitterapp@ckc.ca. This work will be held until the launch of the new IT system and will result in delays in processing these applications. Membership Services and Shows & Trials staff will continue to be available during this time period to assist with any questions/inquiries. Members who require products such as Microchips are encouraged to purchase these items in advance of this period to avoid delays. Members who require an application processed before October 11th should contact the office before October 9th to arrange for expedited service. Note: Expedited Service is only available for CKC members. This service guarantees a 48 business hours turnaround at double the fee of any regular transactions. CKC staff will work diligently up to, and following, this system outage to minimize delays. Your patience during this period is greatly appreciated as CKC works to improve your member experience with the new IT system. This exciting new online tool will put you in control and allow you to efficiently take care of your CKC business. Please Note: Increased processing times as a result of the IT system outage will not result in increased fees for our members. Registration Service Fees and Shows & Trials Fees will be calculated based on the date applications are received by CKC (according to CKC’s Schedule of Fees).
